For this exploration prmit application, the environmental procedure was concluded in November 2009 with the authorization from Emilia Romagna Region. The permit is expected to be awarded in 2010.
In this block hydrocarbons are most likely to be found in the sands of the Miocene, Plio-Pleistocene deposited by turbiditic flows within the Apenninic foredeep. The traps can be structural or mixed, related to the last phases of the Apenninic orogeny.
