This exploration permit application was filed with the Ministry on July 28, 2006 and was awarded and published in the Official Bulletin of Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Resources LIV-12 - in December 2010.
The block is located in central part of the Po Valley Basin, is topographically flat with the typical landscape of the Po Valley region, and it covers a surface of 102.40 sq km. Exploration targets are the Miocene, Pliocene and Pleistocene turbidites and possible deeper targets in the Mesozoic Limestone.
