The Molino exploration permit was awarded to AleAnna July 7, 2010. It covers 24.35 sq km, and is located immediately west of the Cortemaggiore field, one of the oldest and largest fields in the basin, producing 11.7 million barrels of oil, 371 Bcf gas and 80,000 barrels of condensate from 1949 to 1992. The field produced from several Miocene sands.
